that being said I think its pretty lame how were trashin some car that the owner put alot of hard work, time, and money into producing something he liked. Personally I think some of the stuff some people put on e30's looks extremely lame (reiger bodykits for example, which you yourself jordan were going to do at one point if im not mistaken) but that guy likes it. Then when something that looks good gets overdone (Kopi Alpinas) they get flamed for being unoriginal. Lets face it, this car might not be in our taste, but its newer and most likely alot more reliable than 90% of the cars on this site, myself included, and I dont even have an e30. At least the guy likes BMW's, it could have been a Honda

But I guess it all come down to the fact that well never have a car as amzing as Jordans, which in the three years Ive been cruisin the e30 boards, has yet to be running and fully assembled. At least this BMW is running, street legal, and could make it school or whatnot and back....

IMO I think 95% of all the members on this board have a running E30 and street legal
and I don't know anybody on this board with an E30 that looks like this POS

I agree with you that everybody's taste is not the same but it doesn't want to say that a 15 year old Bimmer is less reliable than a newer one, even more

dude i dont know the service history of every single car on this board but its common knowledge that older cars usually require more maintenance. Higher milage and age are big factors in costs. And I wasnt really comparing our e30s to every newer car out there, I was jsut including my shitbox pathfinder to be fair. The comment was more directed towards jordan about being street legal, as his project car, while in the future it is going to be one sick car, at this point in time is what it is, a project car. I just found it funny that someone with a car that hasnt seen daily driver duties ever can trash a car that someone else likes, that actually runs. Maybe you should reread my previous post, thought I made that pretty clear.
