Friend's boosted and flared 2002 project.

Thought you guys might appreciate this build thats been happening in my basement for the last year and a half. Complete restoration with fiberglass flares, custom coilovers front and rear, Massive brakes front and rear, steering rack conversion, among other things.

they make RS2s in 225/45R15? hmmmm... I wonder what the total tire height is...

edit: nm it's around .9 less than a 50 series, which for some reason RS2s are only available in raised white letters in 225/50R15

I remember reading about this project a while back... it's great to see it coming together! Any details on the engine?

I'm not positive on the exact details, but I know it will be fully rebuilt with forged pistons, tubular manifold, and a Garrett GT-series ball bearing turbo (GT2876?). Megasquirt for engine management.

Man that thing looks great. Can't wait to see the finished product as well. Has Dan and Jarvis lended a hand in the build at all? What are they up to? Have not seen them since graduation from Mass Bay.

Haven't talked to Dan in quite a while, not sure what he's up to. Jarvis has his own project E30... can't tell you anymore than that.

Well, not sure if he still browses the forum and if I said what I thought about the car, he'd be pissed. Lets just say it hasn't moved from its spot in the driveway since the day it arrived on a tow truck... in July.
