Post links to them. I know I've seen them both, but I can't remember them.

BTW, did you ever go see that white 318is for sale in Brea by the guy named Gary? I might run out there and look at it tomorrow afternoon.

I never went to check out the 318is. I have no idea on how to get around smog that's why I'm a lil hesistant. From looking at the list on the modded one. What would I have to remove for it to pass smog?

You shouldn't have to remove anything. Ask him for his last smog cert and post up the numbers so we can see how it failed. It probably needs another cat, since the Magnaflow ones are fairly crappy but only cost $65 or so. I just put one on a gross polluting car and it should pass smog with no problems now. We'll find out tomorrow. :)

The seller is legally responsible for getting it to pass smog before he's able to sell it to you. Unless you know what you're getting into, I wouldn't buy any car that wasn't already smogged within the last 90 days.

Good to know VacMac, thanks for the advice.

Here's some pictures I just received of the white one. Too bad it's an Auto or I'd buy right away.

            This car looks really clean.

Dude, buy it and do a 5 speed swap. That's a great looking car. The interior and engine look great and it even has the IS lip!

I would go for the 325is and do a tranny swap - that is a seriously clean car!

that white car is probably 3 times the car. unless youve driven the heavily modded car and its really tight. it has some nice shit on it but i bet its been abused like kate525 at the firehouse.

I called around and the swap cost almost 2 grand. That's a lot of money, not to mention the 800-900 to lower the car. This car would be roughly around 7 grand by then. Decision, decision, thanks guys and keep the advice coming.

2 grand for a 5 speed swap? Are you sourcing all new parts or something? Jon (E30yrsold) just sold a complete 5 speed swap for $250. Complete. That means everything you need from soup to nuts. Even if the average shop took 10 hours to complete it, you're still under $1000.

That modded car looks familiar, and I agree with Nando. Not very sano work. Post the link on that auto car; I might go buy it if you don't want it. :D
