that looks GREAT! I like the intake pipe clearanced for the power-steering fluid resivour, but couldn't you have used a smaller one or moved it to another location to keep the flow smooth through a round pipe?
Thanks Ryan, no, the pipe flows well, lol, anyways I dropped the biggest one that I could for better flow, perhaps I could avoid punching that pipe for the propper clearance by making the curve more agressive of the pipe but that's what i got at the final.

Diego, you are going to put so much turbo into that poor e30 that it is going to blow up....
Is not correct Brian, I just putted this Turbo, is the second turbo that I put, the previous just sold it, I wanted better flow inhigh speeds and RPMs...this turbo willd o the job easily

How do you put so much turbo into an engine?
Because I can! ;) and the engine let do it :P

tj your abviously a newbie to the world of boost....

    hrm..

    Well said...!!

That's it, I'm turboing the 3L. Looks good Diego
    -Ted

Thanks Ted, turbocharge your 3 Litre, will be awesome, I'm thinking to stroke my engine to a 2.8L, searching for the parts if worst part.

isnt that heat wrap a no no?
What?? Yes is heat wrap :P

    Looking very good Diego!
Next on your list should be a proper engine management system. You should get rid of the leaking POS that is the AFM, there are simply to many reasons to name here as to why you should get a MAP based after market system instead.
Still wish I had your setup, AFM or not
Yes iX, Ihave the smt6 and I'm waiting for some baseline that Gunni wills end me, in that way I will swapp inmediatly my E36 1993 MAF (bosch) M50B25 and will put a 2 BAR MAP senosr that I have laying arround wich will read the boost and will tuen it to decrease the advance while the boost is growing.

Until that I wont do anything, still waiting for that baseline, perhaps on sunday will play a bit to find what can I do since my friend will give me his lap top for a while.

Thats a neat set up, looks very pro. But how come your still running an AFM? Swap to MAF?
Thanks bro!! Well I explained already above here :D

Looks sick, I love your car.
Thanks MR325, soon will have some pics of the new 3" downpipe SS.

I wouldn't say I'm a newbie, but I think the word that Brian meant to use was boost and not turbo.

      RISING EDGE

Let's drive fast and have fun.

Love what you did. Did you lower the compression? Could you make more aliuminum intake/throttle body? If you were to sell one how much?

Thanks, many people asked me about the custom pipe, sure I can do somes, but the main problem is that I live out side of US, more precise in SOuth America-Peru :P that would be difficult to send the stuff over the US

            Stock Bottom end, stock compression.

              Looks very nice Diego!

Can you please post some pictures of your intercooler? I am particularly interested in how did you route pipes from turbo to intercooler and then to intake side.

Sure, I have some pics saved of it, but let me do first the FMIC swapp before sending the old setup wich my side mount IC suck, inefficient and restrictive, it's homemade.

This FMIC was mounting but then sold it, I'm purchasing the same one but larger, once is installed willt ake many pics of it.

                Stay tune

Diego, I guess you do have an oil cooler, don't you? Are you going to relocate it to make FMIC fit? I am at the same stage in my 325ix FI project. Looking at the best way to fit FMIC. I have seen someone on this forum deleted high beams to make roum for pipes but I do not want to go this route since this is a street car and I do sometimes use high beams.

                  Thanks,
                  Tigran.
