Let's take a trip down memory lane, shall we? What kind of cars have you owned? Anything come close to your E30?
I'll start:
(1994-1996) 1974 Ford F250 - My high school transportation, actually owned by my father but it was "mine" to drive around etc. A big black monster, with 36" tires and chrome wheels, 4" factory hi-boy lift and a rebuilt 390 V-8 that got about 5mpg. BIG, NOISY, BEAST. The tires were actually louder than the engine at 20mph+
(1997-2000) 1966 Ford Mustang - A straight 6 but still very cool, first car I actually owned. Perfect interior with the GT package. It's cool to turn young and old people's heads the same :D Sold on ebay to a guy in FL (I live in Seattle!).
(2000-2003) 1990 VW Corrado G60 - MAN was this car a blast! Too bad it broke down every other week. At its peak all the electrics worked, including the spoiler! In the end I thought I would die every time I drove it. Sold as a parts car :(
(2003-current) 1989 235is - By far the best car I've owned. No others even come close to how solid this car feels, not to mention the hot euro look and feel. I wish I could have found a manual but that's really the ONLY gripe I have about this car. Everything else is just.... I am speechless. I am without speech.
BTW I'm 25 and I paid my own cash for every car I owned. Not many, for sure, but certainly not your run-of-the-mill my-dad-bought-me-a-kia-when-I-graduated type cars either
