    Cheapest and Best Gas?

Which Company's sell the cheapest and best gas for e30's?

Cheap but good stuff. Not that Shell with Vtech or Chevron with Techron that costs $5 a gallon. Good cheap stuff that runs smooth.

Just want to know which gas out of all of them would run smoother in the car.

I'm in SoCal but any mentions would work. Even from europe. They all come from Middle East anyways. But any gas stations or gas makers welcome.

BP, Chevron, Texaco, Shell, Enron Any. GO>

Not all, I know for a fact Exxon and Mobil come from Venezuela while the majority of Arco comes from Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico, since its a BP company. Shell and Chevron are both Middle East though I believe. I usually run Shell or 76 in my car, and I'm socal too. It seems to work out fine.

Good and cheap... the recurrent theme on R3v.

Tried shell for about 3 weeks and to me it seemed to run out way too fast.

Put Arco for about 4 days ago and its lasted me. Maybe because filled it to full tank for the first time.

considering that all gas has to meet government regulations; the cheapest shit is the best value. [grades comparable]

Some people swear by their gas. They never go the cheap stuff, Thrifty Tesco, etc.

                Just asking.

Any gas not in CA = the cheapest.

I however, only put 91 Chevron in my two cars. You used to be able to find 92 octane down in Socal, not sure if you can anymore, though.

How much is gas where you live? I'm near the D.C. line and gas is $3.41 for 93 octane.

Cheapest gas here is $3.22 for 93 octane, cash only.

Whats important is that you're not putting 87 in an E30 that requires 91, due to no knock sensors.

Do they? I only have my 318iS and never knew if 325's took 87 or whatever.

No. M42 requires it. M10 and M20 can run on 87. I'm not sure of the S14, but I would assume 91 because of the compression ratio.

I saw it hit $4 and 9/10s for premium in Beverly Hills on Friday. I almost cried.

Just use google search for gas prices, esentially all gas is the same no matter where its coming from once it come from the refinery. I had someone at work tell me that his mother owned a no name gas station back in the day and her gas was just the leftover's/ little left remaining in the trucks storage tank that deliver gas to the stations. I've heard this is true for the gas stations ran by stores, costco and sam's club. At any rate I always put 91 in my current dd(e36 m3), but my eta ran just fine on 87 and never had a gas/octane issue.
