Close, but alot of "name brand" gas stations have their own detergent blend for their gasoline.

Really, no one has anything for this?

the GAS is all the same, but the additives are definitely NOT.

bargain priced gas has very poor additives - they are far more likely to gum up your engine. they meet the minimum requirements for octane rating, but that's about all they have to do. water can actually help increase resistance to detonation, for example (which is what octane rating is).

Also, not all oil comes from the middle east - if you really think that you are ignorant. I know most of the oil up here comes from alaska/canada, very little if any comes from the middle east.

I work in the industry, and even the guys who work for the refineries Arco is made at don't use it. why? because they put the bare minimum of additives. it's basically straight out of the holding tanks!

as far as where the oil for different brands are made - that depends on where it's refined (geographically), not who owns the brand. sometimes a different company will refine the base fuel and store it in separate tanks where the additives are put in (shell for example).

There used to be a placed that sold 105 in socal. But not anymore... this was at least 6 years ago and it was around 6 bux a gallon.

Not quite sure, but I think pay about $3.79 for 91. I dont know if the M20 requires it, but I know the M5x do. So I just put it in both.

                    Don't be a dick...

Say you have a choice between paying $3.25 for cheap gas, or $3.50 for some good trusted gas(I happen to like chevron)

                    PRICE: $3.25 * 14 gallons = $45.50
                    RANGE: 14 gallons * 20 MPG = 280 miles
                    PRICE PER MILE: $0.1625

                    PRICE: $3.50 * 14 gallons = $49.00
                    RANGE: 14 gallons * 20 MPG = 280 miles
                    PRICE PER MILE: $0.175

Difference in cost per mile: $0.0125

                    Cheap ass...

The S14 has to take 91 or better or it will run like shyt! I get between 289-330 per 12 gal. tank.

Where's the break down for the dumbasses who will drive an extra mile to save $.02 a gallon for gas. Hahaha j/k... If you ever hear someone say that that they'll go an extra mile for that much of a difference remind them its __ x .02 = less than a dollar.
