i just want to sell the 04 range because it was made by BMW. They're owned by ford now, so the 08 ranges are obviously better.

mmmmm I don't think it was entirely made by bmw was it? Didn't bmw sell the heck out of the company when they realized there was no way in hell to turn a profit on a completley flawed vehicle?

And I totally agree with the Ford comment. Just look at the s-type. I mean who else but ford is smart enought to put explorer shift linkage inverted onto a taurus? Those last for at least 60k miles! Plus the whole plastic tubes on the head that crack, timing chain tensioners, plastic wood. I mean Ford is making it happen!
