Haha. That's pretty much what it boils down to. No one on this board really knows you. All they saw was a pic of an MT1 valance being cut. Such is life on the internet. It is serious business. ;)

A few things need to be addressed here:

1) that piece that you can see hanging under the bumper needs to be pulled up a bit. The only thing connecting the bumper is that strip. You won't be able to see it in the future, especially because there's going to be some big gaudy CF splitter on the front

Keep it up newman! I've been watching your thread on elisetalk (um lotustalk now) since early '07, people are just being ignorant. Keep firing back your responses to the elitist comments, makes for a good read.

Im really disappointed in some of the people's replies in this thread. R3V is one of the different forums that scares away people that are too soft, and has a good amount of knowledgeable people with a good sense of humor. This guy comes out swingin and gets all this heat for it, c'mon people. Go through the thread in his signature and see how much work and attention he has put into this old car, a car that would likely been crushed and melted down. e30 enthusiasts need to realize that its a fairly small community in retrospect, thats why its easy to find them in junk yards cause people don't care. He is covering ever aspect of the car with precise ideas and an open budget, exactly what you have to do in a project like this.

yeah i remember your build up on the elise site so you can cut the roof and windshield off and tonneau cover the whole car besides a slit in the driver seat for your skinny ass to fit through and I'll still think you're cool :)

Jealous of the equipment you have at your disposal, the skills to run said equipment and the terrible planning besides starting this project with a beat shell, but it will all be worth it in the end :)
