You may be the biggest jackass I've ever seen on the internet.
What you're doing is a complete waste of time and money - because in the end you're still going to be a jackass and you car will be ugly as sin but really fast. You may fool yourself into thinking thats cool (just as you've fooled yourself into thinking you're awesome) but you will be wrong. It will be a complete novelty and will fade quickly - just like your stupid lotus.
I guess what more can I expect from someone with an "I tried way too hard to make my hair look like I didn't try at all" haircut.
Prediction: In less than 1 years time you will have a hard time selling this on craigslist
"We praise or find fault, depending on which of the two provides more opportunity for our powers of judgement to shine."

To Turf1600 -
What's it like going through life and always being wrong?
I guess that it would become pretty taxing. Let me know, plz.
Prediction: You're crying right now; lamenting about the fact that you're one or more of the following:
a) poor
b) ugly
c) uncool
d) too unintelligent to properly use a semicolon
e) etc.

My thoughts exactly. In the meantime, he gets to show off how nonchalant he can be about destroying expensive, irreplaceable things. Yeah, this kid is hilarious...

What a bummer. :(
Hahahahaha oh the ego.
Let me know when you part it out I may want......
Well, I'm low on spare nuts and bolts.
Speaking of poor sentence structure - You managed to ask me 2 completely different questions in your first sentence (intentionally, I'm sure ;)). Going through life is great. Always being wrong - not so sure. Smart guy.
I think your car has potential to be pretty cool and definitely fast. However, if you dislike Lotuses and e30s so much, why don't you just start with a car you DO like?
Just went through the whole build thread at LT, couple of things, that sunroof filler will crack, weld the whole dame thing up, same with the trim recess down the sides ( but not as likely to crack ).
The exposed intercooler setup you have is a complete fail as related to the thought and care done through out the rest of the car, why such a hack job when you had already had to cut and make a new firewall, sliding the motor back a bit ( with the obviously needed oil pan mods ) wouldn't have be that much more work considering the time an effort you have wrapped up in it this far. WHY?
Just my opinion but this choice on the intercooler setup will affect the overall look of the build quite substantially. Shame really.

Very good point. Unlike most cars with a FMIC setup, his is waaay out there, making it much more susceptible to damage if he ever bumps into something. I guess the careful planning and engineering didn't figure in the possiblity of someone in front of him hitting their brakes a bit early. Now that the damage to the MT1 is done, and since he seems quite set on this RB-swapzilla, he really should move the FMIC back so that the first point of contact will be the bumper. My $1.02.
