he didn't do anything "different." From what i've read, it's not like he took his time to make sure it all go together correctly. All he did was succumb to an impulse to hack up a very desireable valence to make it fit around an intercooler. It hardly looks like it's going to stay together. It shows a complete lack of planning which completely kills all anticipation of ever wanting to see the car finished in all its "awesomeness."

    pathetic.

The LS1 E30 M3 has been done. He lives in my town and works at my bank.
Guess you cant do it now, since you wanna be all original and shit.

Edit: unless you hack up the body of the M3 for some TRD style something or others to go with the v8

Maybe this is insult to the injury, but i actually originally cut the IS front valence and diving board, and the intercooler fits completely behind it... this is what i had when i initially designed the setup. The radiator was custom built, so it could have been anything...

I just hate the way the black plastic trim looks that goes around the side of the DB bumpers, so i switched to eurobumpers and mtech stuff...

If i had had the mtech1 valence and the euro bumpers when i had the radiator custom built, i probably would have put 2 radiators in the car, one on either side below the headlights and moved the intercooler back 3"... but it was a bit late in the game, and i want to get the car out for the spring/summer...

Maybe next winter i'll buy another mtech and some new radiators not cut it up...

    Lastly, i wasn't kidding about the LS1 E30 M3... ;)

to be honest, the original is valance that you had on the car in the first place would have looked better being cut, not just for the fact they are easier to find, but its already pretty much perforated...

Lol. I can't say that it makes me happy that he cut the valence. I'm sure if I was looking for one I'd be pissed about this. But, seeing as I don't care about the Mtech1 kits....

Hmmm, well maybe instead he could have sold it to one of the many people looking for that valence/kit. But whatever, he can do what he wants with his car. I'm Steve and I do not approve the slashing of mtech1 valences.
