Has anyone installed the above mentioned pieces with success?

        - Trunk lid showed up damaged. Could have simply been a shipping incident but Eurostop took care of that problem to my satisfaction.

        - Trunk lid uses all Standard hardware instead of metric. Frustrating but not that big of a deal.

        - Weave on trunk lid is a little crooked - again, no big deal since it's a race car and it will likely see paint anyway.

        - Trunk lid does not fit! When mounted on factory hinges it looks really bad. HUGE gap at the front (to high by over 1/2") and the rear angle isn't even close. Put it this way, it makes my VIS hood look GOOD.

Since I am pinning this on a race car I can live with a little misalignment but had this gone on a street car, it would have been returned.
you have to remove the trunk torsion bars to make it fit rite. it absolutely doesnt fit rite with them on.

          +1

I know E30 guys tend to be cheap but you'll seriously not beat the quality of an MA Shaw hood. it was expensive but I've never once regretted it (even if I forget it's there 90% of the time).

You are certainly right that it absolutely doesn't fit trying to bolt it up to stock hinges (with torsion bars installed) Removing the torsion bars helped but mine still doesn't fit correctly. If I were limited to mounting it to the stock hinges I would not keep it, especially considering what it cost (even factoring in the compensation for damage). Perhaps I just got a bad deck lid? I'd love to see some high resolution photos from a successful install, especially how the angle of the rear lines up.
