not really, it weighs 3,500lbs............this shoulda been called a 2.99 series. Pity BMW can't make a light car anymore.

There are plenty of dealers out there charging NO market adjustment on the cars. The dealership I visited is selling E90/92 M3's with no market adjustment and also the 1-er with no market adjustment. You just pay MSRP.

He asked about size, not weight.

Yes, the 135i is within an inch or two in all exterior dimensions if I recall correctly. It may be 3" taller, but I haven't seen the comparison in a few months.

Many of the reports I have read state the car is more like an e30 than the BMW proclaimed 2002. Hey - that is fine with me! ;)
'89 "is" = M technic II build mode.

I need to go scope out the local dealerships in Dallas when I get chance.

I'm really eager to see this car in person.

I wouldn't mind going to look at one, since it's one of the few newer cars that i like. But the closest BMW dealership to me is over 2.5 hours away.

No one can. especially in the US.
If you buy a new car, expect it to be heavy what with airbags and computers. Technology can be a bitch, but I bet you won't complain about all the safety in the 135 when you lose control. The 335 with it's TC off is alot to handle. I can Imagine the 1er is worse.
                    Yours truly,

I like em, the girl and I have been toying around on BMW's website building a 1. She's thinking of trading her 05 Jetta for one, which would be more than fine to me.

You guys think there is enough room for a 6'9" driver in there? Thats always my deciding factor.

Saw a white coupe driving by near the local BMW dealer. I need to take some more time out to check them out.

if you fit in an e30 you can most def. fit in a 1er.

Stop using the booster seat from Chili's, and you shouldn't have a problem...
