There's no such thing as too much PB.Originally posted by Schneider325ya i tried again....its not like its really tight or anything, its very easy to turn. I keep on doing and doing it. ok well i gave up on that for a while and im taking apart the interior lol... I got everything i want out soo far execpt the front seat.... I have done it twise already and this time i just cant get this one bolt out... there not enough room to get it out for some reason. Plus on the passenger seat, from the last time i took them out, I couldnt screw in the 2 back bolts. I have tried just using a wrench since i can get it in there better but the biggest one i have is 15mm. Have any of u guys have any of these problems?Comment

sounds like my issue i had. worst case scenario the bumpers can be drilled off, and its not actually all that hard. You don't drill the big bolts though. remove the plastic trim, remove then remove the plastic cover and what you are left with is the fiberglass bumper. once you are down to that simply drill out the bolts that attach to the bumper shock. This is what i had to do with the bumpers Etasport now has on his car. It took a while and a 1/2 hp drill running off my air compressor but those fuckers came off.

a breaker bar is a pipe that you slide onto the handle of a wrench so that you can get more leverage. the longer the bar, the more leverage. makes things alot easier. any pipe will do.Originally posted by Schneider325what is a breaker bar? and those bolts mighta been worked on...she was in a little crash about 5 years ago...damn mini van mom pulled out and hit the front cornor of her car.... front bumper/fender i think.Originally posted by Eurospeed88Get a breaker bar and put some elbow grease into it. They'll come off, trust me. They haven't been touched in 15 years.Comment

i dont need more leverage at all.... it turnes pefectly fine.... what im guessing is the bolt is moving when im turning it backwards then when i go forwards again to take it off, it just goes back to were i started off. a never ending process. how the heck can i take off the trim without the bumper off. that would be a pain in the ass... btw i dont have a fiberglass bumper, its metalComment

SO KEEP SPINNING IT THE WAY IT GOES WHEN IT LOOSENS AND DONT GO BACKWARDS AND TIGHTEN IT AGAIN OMGWTFComment

well considering that when use a ratchet u gota turn it back and forth, then it looses and takes of a bolt  Im just saying sumthing is proably fucked up so that is why the bolt is turning in both directions, and not just the one..... I got an idea for todayOriginally posted by DigitalwaveSO KEEP SPINNING IT THE WAY IT GOES WHEN IT LOOSENS AND DONT GO BACKWARDS AND TIGHTEN IT AGAIN OMGWTF
turn to the left... take it out and do it again....I'll see if it works.Comment

Then its probably just finger tight. Disconnect the ratchet and just use the hex to spin the bolt out, so when the ratchet back-steps it doesn't re-tighten the bolt.Comment

it took you that long to figure that out? you don't use ratchets too often do you? :roll:Originally posted by Schneider325turn to the left... take it out and do it again....I'll see if it works.Originally posted by DigitalwaveSO KEEP SPINNING IT THE WAY IT GOES WHEN IT LOOSENS AND DONT GO BACKWARDS AND TIGHTEN IT AGAIN OMGWTFComment

Ok my parts car that was hit in the front had this problem with the one bumper shock, when it got hit the welds holding the nut to the car broke so the nut just spins and spins. If this is the case you'll have to drill it out but that is my guese.85 325e 2.7 ITB'd stroker
