Oh e30 m3 all the way, may not be fast anymore compared todays cars but nothing takes away from the s14 screaming with the window rolled down sitting in those tiny seats. Especially after owning 2 e36 m3's and riding in a very modified smg e46 m3, e30 m3 with just a cat-back, I'd still pick the e30 m3.

Take an e30 m3 body with basically carbon fiber everything... and just dump all the e46 m3 mechanical and electrical parts. and add a TURB!

The E36 3.2 Euro is possibly the most fun to drive. The E46 is less of an evolution than I'd like. I'm told, OTOH, that the E90/92/93 is something else.

What is an E36 M3 GT?
The E36 M3 GT is a limited-edition version of the European-market 3.0-liter M3 coupe developed to homologate engine and bodywork enhancements to the equivalent competition model in the FIA GT Series (Division II) and the American IMSA GT Series. A total of 350 examples were produced in left-hand drive form from February thru June of 1995 (in addition to six pre-production vehicles produced in December of 1994) with the following special equipment:
-A retuned version of the S50 B30 powerplant with 264-degree cams, a BMW Motorsport dual-pickup oil pan, duocentric oil pumps and upgraded VANOS software producing 295 hp at 7,000 rpm and 238 lb/ft of torque at 3,900 rpm
            -Shorter 3.23:1 final drive
            -Stiffer springs and shocks
            -M strut tower brace
            -British Racing Green (312) paintwork
-Adjustable front and rear GT spoilers
            -Clear front turn signal lenses
            -Aluminum doors
-"BMW Motorsport International" emblems on exterior door mouldings and interior sill plates
-Forged M Double Spoke alloy wheels (7.5x17-in. front, 8.5x17-in. rear)
-Mexico Green Nappa leather upholstery with Anthracite Amaretta bolsters
            -Three-spoke steering wheel with airbag

don't like the new e92's they big, heavy and meh don't look as agressive as any of the prior ones. Realistically, i'd take an e46 M3 over the E30 over the E36
                No more e30s for me.

I chose the e30's for a couple reasons, the biggest being that they are the best looking and original M's. The other reason is that it will continue to appreciate, not depreciate like all these other M's. They are fucking investments...

All M3's will be worth a pretty penny someday.

e30 m3 retired dtm car. BUT somehow fit stock interior back in. i dont care what anyone says but a high 200 low 300 horsepower s14 WITH monolug 18" wheels WITH built in air jacks would be tits.

after contemplating the possibilities...I still don't know what i'd choose :(

                              i <3 the e30 m3...maybe the sport evolution?
and the e46 m3 gtr is teh sex too.

I like the rear end of the e92, but the front just doesn't do it for me...
Can't pass judgment without having driven it, but I'm just basing it off physical appearance.

                              :)

                                white over black e30 m3 w/ s50b32/6spd 3.64 diff and gold 17" BBSLMs

my second choice would be the only arktisgrau individual e36 m3 in the US (was for sale in virginia in 06, but I lost track of it's location)

factory Alpina gauge pod, diff cover, LTW trim, hurricane interior.. plus much more. it was posted for sale in the 30k range in 05..
