i'm keeping this thread bumped in the more visited section of the board to obtain higher visibility... mostly in part because i think the world record drive is pretty worth while.

So... There are a few of us that do not want to do the 4ngie drive, but want to go to the meet.

WTF?! why would you want to skip out on helping a cool cause? So you want to participate in the socializing part of the event, great. But why not spend a little more time that morning and support this parade? This 4ngie guy (assuming it is a dude) is going through a lot of trouble to get this done and the shit isnt cheap. I'm sure he could use every car available to help!

Well, I'm about to tear out my entire engine compartment and replace EVERYTHING in it. So for me, I would start this weekend, however I want to at least get to the meet. Second, to be frank, I don't trust A LOT of e36/ e46 kids out there. I would ride with older e30/ e36 (maybe) guys all day..

I'm not the only one that feels this way (hance most everyone I know is into hanging out together, but really not into the drive. Call it being e30 snobs.. but that's just how we feel.
