Other possibilities to the greatness.... AWESOME. Looks nice. How many people do you know with 4x114.3 or 5x130 wheels? Because I personally dont know any, though there are TONS out there, I know. I just dont browse every forum. I browse R3v and BF.C. If you stick to BMW patterns, you will find more people who have wheels (as long as you deal primarily with BMW guys).

You could buy some fuckin Subaru bolt pattern adapters, and if you hang out with the subaru guys, then youre set.

Im pretty much not changing your mind and youre not changing mine.

You can find some solid 5x120s that look nice on E30s. A 5 lug swap makes life easier because BMWs are 5x120 now, therefore easier to find wheels, since there are MORE out there. Im not sure if you can grasp that.... If 5x120 wheels werent easier to find, or had a better selection, people wouldnt do 5 lug swaps.

Really? Tell me where all these 5x120 wheels are that are so easy to find? I've been looking on ebay forever, all I can find are a bunch of style 5's. everything else is 5x114 or 5x130.

I'm just going to buy some new BBS at full price, I can't stand the frustration anymore.

I can tell you one thing, some of those "ricer" honda wheels you speak of are 10x's stronger than anything BBS ever came up with.

spacers and adapters are a pain in the ass. they are not as good as a direct bolt on OE wheel in the correct offset with no centering rings or any of that crap. and to take it even further 90 % of aftermarket shit isnt as good as OE. i dont care what any of you say. thats my opinion so eat an aftermarket dick.

Jeeeez, It's safer and cheaper in the long run just to have rims custom drilled.

lots of 4x100 wheels come in proper E30 fitment, and actually add value to your car.

It is definitely your best bet of value added, per dollar spent

So it's pretty obvious none of you have ever used or properly researched adapters, so why are you all voicing opinions on them? :S

Any decent adapter will be made to be properly hubcentric to your car and to the bolt pattern you are adapting to. And they will be provided with the proper strength bolts. I've been running adapters on my E30 for two years, and on a VW Golf for three years prior to that. My Golf ones were custom 12mm thick 4x100 to 5x112 (Audi), and came with studs inserted as they were too narrow to allow a proper grip of a bolt.
