Gauge cluster installed, need to trim the wood to make it fit better though.

And yes, the park brake light does work properly, and I put resistors on the temp and fuel gauges so they appear realistic :) Also ended up buying some cheap aftermarket tach, ripping the guts/armature out and installing/modifying a spare e30 gauge face to work with it.

my roommate made something similar... not as elaborate. just some cheap conduit and an old subaru seat that works with the play station

so the cool thing that we do.... based on the top gear idea, whenever anybody comes over, we have a select coarse and car that everybody has to drive. they get a while to get used to the controls using a different car and a different track, but once they're ready they set a lap time, best out of 5 and it goes up on our little lap time wall with magnetic strips.
