Matrix Revolutions (SPOILERS INSIDE - BEWARE - THUMBS UP!)

The first matrix absolutely RULED. One of the best sci-fi movies I've ever seen. The second one got a little cheesy, but it after about the first half hour, it was one action scene and fight after another! I loved it! The third one just seemed like they couldn't figure out how to end anything, so they just explained everything with "I believe" the whole time. I felt gyped. One of the biggest things that pissed me off about the 3rd one is that the twins didn't come back. They were probably my favorite characters from the second one, and since they weren't in the third one, I felt like they should have never had them at all.

And in the second and third one, I REALLY wanted to see Persephone get naked. Anyone else?

I like the Maravigian (sp?). I thought he was great. The twins were pretty awsome too. I thought they were destroyed in the blast in the 2nd one. Maybe they werent. I could watch the first one over and over again. Same for the 2nd one. I have to go buy it so I can see the special features part. I already own the 1st one, Matrix Revisited, and the Anamatrix. I guess I need to complete the set.

BTW- Matrix owns on BOSE home theater systems. ;)

My friend calls him 'The dirty Frenchman with the orgazmo cake". He was one of my favorites too, he was so funny!

See, I don't think they were. When they were in the car, Morpheus put a katana blade right through his chest, and he just did that "ghost" thing. If they were destroyed in that blast, I just want to know how?

nah, you see the twins fly into the air after the blast in "phasing" mode.

The Froggy seemed to have little to no point in the story in the second movie.

Also, I could have sworn Jadea Pinket (sp?) died in the 2nd one. I thought she was trying to hack the computer and then the sentinles attacked her ship. I could be wrong, i have to see the ending again.

It would have been nice to have Neo and Trinity make it through it all. They also left it kind of open when the Oracle said that she might she Neo again. Hmmm...

The bothers will probably come out with some other crazy flick.

Ok I was talking to my friend and a good question showed up.

At the beggining of the movie, I'm pretty sure it was said that the little girl from the arab family was given the function of the new Oracle, but my friend said she was the new program that would take care of the Sun ( that's why she tells the Oracle she was responsible for the beautiful sunrise ). So what's the call here?

Yes i wondered that 2 what was teh whole purpose fo the lil girl they called her The Exiled One also.......? This whole movie was one big hollywood cliche. I felt every word in this movie coming. Especially when Trinity talks to Neo.....Every time.

The more I think about it, the more I didn't like it.

AMEN! They better make another one to make up for everything they screwed up in 3. I thought the second one was the best of all.

One of the thins i was wondering is, when the oracle asked the architect if everyone would be free, he said yes. And then she asked for his word, and he said the whole thing about being human.

I think the KEY, is that all the people SMITH overtook, came back( the oracles protector, the little girl, etc). but if you remember, SMITH overtook NEO, so does that mean he comes back in the matrix (ie. RESURRECTED?)?

But being a first degree black belt in taekwondo, i was VERY VERY disappointed in how they dropped off all the martial arts in the movie.

That was the best part about it. Hence, i'll keep my focus on Jet Li movies, he has yet to let me down.

The matrix is very religous, In the first one you have cipher (short for lucipher), trinity, morpheus are all religous characters.

I was hoping that the wachowskis took it in the direction of love being the most powerful entity. This is the reason why god is god, (for those who believe), he is all powerful because he unconditionally loves. If you think about it, love cannot be taken, forced upon, stolen, etc. People will do crazy things for love. Sometimes things beyond normal human abilities.

I always say there are two things of another man's you don't mess with, without facing the consequences: His woman/family, and his car (two things we love).

I though it was going to go that direction, but it ended quick. Then again, jesus never had a woman, did he?

Too many unanswered questions, not enough action, if i wanted to see a stars wars film, i would have rented the movie instead of paying 550, and wasting a valuable day off.

The whole Jesus thing is stretch.. Using the same logic one could say that the whole Matrix trilogy was based on Greek metholodgy. Neo based on Hercules and assign the roles of Zeus, Hera, Athena, etc to the corresponding charaters in the movie. Or stretch it to correspond with Homer's Odessy, or some of Shakespear's tradegies, or even Star Wars... You could say the Matrix fits in with almost any great epic story just based on the architypes of the characters in the movie.

I liked the first one because they had some awesome gunfights. I liked the second one because they had awesome hand-to-hand fights. The third one was barely at all set in the Matrix, so they didn't have too many awesome man to man fights... although the action scenes were still pretty impressive. The acting was a little over the top at times, but it didn't really bother me. I didn't like the religious connotations too much at the beginning, but towards the end it was sort of a cool touch. I saw the whole jesus thing from the beginning too, but I never thought they'd make it so clear as to actually have Neo have a fucking crucifix shaped light emit from his chest, but apparenrly they did. Very strange.
Anyway, the last one was pretty intense I thought, but it's not at all like the previous films.
I agree, from best to worst is 1, 2, 3.

P.S. The Merovingian was tight. ;)
