      IMO, the 325iS is the best valued E30 out there. The differences are subtle but there is enough difference to make them more desirable even if you're making a trackcar. A bone stock 87-88 with close to 200K miles can be had for around the $2500 mark or less...in California. 89's will be around 2500-3200.

        The only known problems with this car are a small tear in the leather, the brake lining lights etc are always on (SI board I'm thinking), and the is lip needs to be repainted due to a poor paint job (it had rock chips). The blue book says that an 89 325is is worth $4,675 in excelent condition. So I'm not too sure if I will pay $4500 for it.
