You mean why do I use math to figure out that my expenses from rising fuel costs are a small portion of my budget. And that if I really needed to, not going out to eat one night a month, for example, would more than offset that.

Then why do you have 3 cars? Because you want three cars, I get that. But what I dont understand is why youre bitching about something you need (gas to fill A car to get to work), when you probably spend much more on the things you want and dont need.

So we should be upset at capitalism? At governments, companies and people for trying to make money?

This is going way offtopic and not aimed at the people posting in this thread. But what really irks me is the same people bitching about gas prices, bitch about the war, whose main purpose is to prevent our fuel costs from reaching European levels.
Have you seen me bitch about fuel costs? I try to use as little gas as I can but rarely do I complain. I just get sick of your smug attitude.

Sorry if I come off smug.

"If you're not part of the solution, dont bitch about the problem." Since I do nothing to reduce the amount of fuel I use, I dont complain. Thats the attitude I was trying to portray. Thats all.

As time went on, the factory developed the car each year, making it faster, more comfortable, and capable of handling at higher speeds.
You don’t want this. You want the trickiest, most dangerous, oldest model you can find. Only then can you prove to the world that you’re a man.

I don't know yet how much it costs to fill the E30 up, haven't done it in a while. I love that I don't have to daily it anymore.

But auto-x this weekend is going to drop my bank account slightly.

I do. Nor am I disagreeing with the facts that Nando laid out. You were merely echoing the possibility that I presented, hence the wink.

Are you kidding? I'll whore myself out to a dozen fat chicks for $10 each for the entry fees/gas money. Or one really fat chick for $100.

Fat chicks need love, too. They just gotta pay.

                        Free.

Gas and go mother fuckers, only way to beat the system.

Actually I think I paid ~$45 on my last tank in the m3. IIRC it was $3.59 for 92 at the time.

                        Its 3.89 for 92 now.

haha funny, but most places require you to pay first before they even turn the pumps on (if they are smart anyway). ;)

Would stock m20 take 87 fine or should I do 89?

Around here its been about $45-50ish fill up.

Well... not in MN, Iowa, SD, or Wisconsin ;)

I've never been forced into paying before filling. Some stations around here (the really big ones) have some pumps that are prepay only, just because they are far out enough I guess they can't see you/your plate.
