        I've seen an intermittent ECU on a e28. Replacing the ecu with another fixed the problem. Start with the easy cheap things first. And having another car to swap parts around with is VERY helpful.

            check the injector harness. if it has a twist-lock connector (the m20's do), it might be loose.

              do you have to let the car cool down before it will restart? or can you be doing 60 mph and when it stalls quick turn the key off and restart the car without ever stopping?

                (emi325) we checked the harness as you suggested and still doing the problem.

                (monticello) the car is not stalling any longer it just gives off a jolt like it's about to turn off and it keeps runing, once we turn on the a/c it iddles down some and it'll hick-up and the instrument panel goes wacko now? what gives...
