It must be nice to have the gears and power to do battle on the 35 from austin to Dallas... the 318 just stays its ass in the slow lane.

      Great Car

The 14k did include all the labor, parts, suspension, 5sp swap, Aero Kit install, exhaust work, etc. Since I have had the car from day 1 (from 89 to now), I was willing to spend a little more on her. I was pleased with the outcome, and would take this over any 14-17k car that is out there.

Most important part, a good e30 is hard to beat, unless you have a Porsche :pimp:

This place is like catholic school, 2/3 of the students smoke weed on a daily basis, but the faculty seems to convince the outside world that drugs are just in the other schools, the resident pot dealer thinks he's cool because he has the originality to call anyone he doesn't like a homosexual, and most of the little children follow him like sheep, then there's the few with brains, you hardly ever hear from them, perhaps don't even know they exist, but they get all the sh!t done.

What was the s52 originally in? I see this swap is done often. Was this the e36 m3 engine?

ON EDIT: I searched and see that the s52 was out of the e36 m3 as suspected. What about the trans and driveshaft? What mods need to be done to get this done?

              Clydesdale,
There is a good faq on this in the 24v section of the forum. I will post up a copy of the detailed conversion statement detailing all parts used.

Looks sharp with the new wheels, I'm thinking of Coco mats in my cabbie, do they stay in place or move around?

The mats stay in place really well. They also hide dirt well and looks to wear well. I got them at Bav Auto.
