I had to open up the slot like everyone else, but they worked great with 2" pipe. Mine were very clean inside out of the box. Power feels good, but they were never on a stock motor, either. The unmuffled X-pipe sounds great with a Schrick 288!!! (900 miles, no exhaust past x-collector...)sigpic
