    MPG

Just wondering what you guys get per tank on average? I am use to driving a 4cyl so maybe my 1990 325is is fine. I seem to get around 400-500KM's on 92 octain. I am in canada so work with me here.

    Thanks

    Canada? j/k

I get 19mpg. All the time. (You can convert that.) But then again, I drive like 85% in the city, and much of the time in traffic. But of all my tanks, I always average 18-20mpg. (And that's premium - JC chipped)

btw, I think my OBC is getting smart. It's adjusting to the larger injectors or so it seems. At first it would read 25mpg, but now is down at 21mpg, but the average tank mpg remains @ 19mpg.

It's a SOHC inline-6, not a DOHC I-4......like the two I've previously driven. Of course, I never really got better than 22mpg average on my G20.....so lead foot is part of it. It's worth it, for the driving experience and the torque.

either that or you're using more fuel.

calculating mine using the trip odometer, I get close to 23mpg. on longer trips it goes up, I got about 26mpg driving to oregon and back.

i'm usually around 22mpg during normal driving, and it goes to 25/26 mpg on long road trips (all highway). This is with the JimC chip as well.

19 is pretty low. I get that when I'm in heavier traffic with no highway driving.

23 average, 30 IF I drive 70 on the interstate...not as great as 4 cylinders, but pretty damn good for an 18 year old 6 cyl.

I don't have the OBC, yet, but I average at about 29mpg a tank. That's a little bit of freeway, and the rest city.

you have an eta right? The i isn't as fuel efficient.

And damn all you 4cyl bastards. :P

Maybe it is stop and go, but maybe you ought to see if everything is running right, ala plugs, dirty injectors, etc.

19 is better than 17, which I used to get
