I'd search the car for drugs when you get it back - it's be a shame to get pulled over and searched - than only to get arrested for the car-thief's drugs.

not so awesome news... She's TOTALED!!! they stole the wheels off of it, used a huge bar to break the trunk open, tore the interior out, destroyed the dash to get the radio out, the cars a mess! It was found 2 blocks from the tow company that recovered it in the north Bronx on the service road to I-95 north. F**kers, i hope they get cancer and their insides rot...

Gosh man that sucks. All I can say is just forgive and forget, at least you weren't in the car when it happened, things could have been much worse.

Will insurance cover most of the damage?

That reall fcking sucks, on the upside at least you're repairing your car instead of starting over. Buy a glock and a pager alarm.

Stay on the prosecutor assigned to the case to make sure he throws the book at these fools.

ouch - parking on the street sucks. it's too bad they destroyed a rare/nice car for relatively inexpensive wheels and a stereo. :(

Well, at least you're lucky in that they caught them. Whatever insurance doesn't cover, you can go after them in small claims.

And yeah, alarms in NYC are pointless. My friend lives in Queens and told me they were actually considering banning them because no one gives a shit when they go off anyway.

If I ever lose my garage, my car is getting a gps/pager system and I'll be there, taser in hand, to recover my car!

..how..the fuck.... this is why car alarms need to just emit poisen gas when its being moved...or some type of intoxicating fuck your whole shit up gas...theifs piss me off.

Stuff like that makes me seriously consider getting LoJack installed on my car.

I want to build a cellphone bases GPS tracker - You send the phone a message, and it will send you a text back to a cell or email telling you where the car is at that moment. And you be able to send it a text to shut the fuel pump off.

Please let me know how that goes, I would be very interested. I would even upgrade my phone if it's necessary. Great idea.
