Well the nightmare has come true, my beloved AC Schnitzer edition 88 vert was stolen from in front of my apartment last night. I parked it where I always do around 11:30pm, went inside and walked the dog about an hour later, all was well. this morning i go to leave for work at 7AM and all that was left was 2 skid marks from the car being dragged away. Cops say that is is still one of the top 10 cars stolen in the metro NYC area, they figure its in a container on its way to south africa or the dominican republic to be sold, if you guys do not have a good alarm, get one soon. before its too late. Its a sad day here....

Wow, what a shame man. I could go on for days about how I hope the jerks who did that go to jail, but you should post a few pictures of the car so people know what to look for. I frequent Autotrader, Roadfly, etc., so I'll keep my eyes peeled.- Trey

Carlos, this really sucks, you had done so much work on that car to bring it back to life. The car was just getting back to the status it deserved.
PS... It had a real ACS body kit on it. Keep an eye out on CL. Those are super rare.sigpic

So sorry to hear that, all you NJ peeps keep your eyes open. Maybe Vlad can get his e30 m3 army to canvas the Garden State! I will keep my ebay eyes open, I would keep Craigs List on your bookmarks as well. Just a question, did you check with the complex? I have a friend who filed his jeep stolen after it dissapeared from his Apt. complex. Found out months later it was in a towing yard for lack of permit.
I'm telling you, IGNITION LOCK, alarm, and a quick release for your wheel (if you have an aftermarket one). These cars are easy to steal, part out, and/or ship.Yours truly,
Rich
