I would suggest fixing everything wrong with it. It always leaves me with a bad feeling to know the owner would not fix a $5 part. If they skimped on that, what other timebombs have been left behind for me to discover down the road. Just a theory.

Yeah, those will get done, mostly because they light up the dash brake light right now! When my brother did the suspension, he said something about there not being a place to mount the sensors on the new suspension? I dunno, made sense to me.

Just talk to your financial advisor or the 1-800 number of your financial institution. You can withdraw 10k without penalty.

I likely will take an afternoon and fix all that stuff...

Do you guys think I should just dump some store brand speakers in it, or leave it empty? I just didn't want to waste money on crap. I also only drove it in nice weather, so I wasn't planning on putting rears in it since the targa cover covers it all up.

I would LOVE to get $10k from it. Just can't really sit on this house too long waiting for the car to sell. Like if it sold tomorrow, that would be great. :-) I want to put in an offer like...tomorrow morning.

I am a first time home buyer, not sure what it takes to get out my 401k though. My 401k isn't huge and has been bleeding out lots of $$ anyway, so I've been thinking about trying to move it somewhere else even if I didn't buy a house. This house is everything I've been looking for, but never thought it would come along so I'm not prepared at all to buy a house. I should have been saving this whole time instead of blowing money on my Baur. :-) Live and learn I guess!

I'd definitely by another e30 after I got all settled in the house, unfortunately I don't think I'll ever find another like this. :(
            trade for ix

i honestley love baurs with an imense passion...if i had an i/is and not an ix i would sell my car and start saving for yours...seriously :)

unfortunetely i have college in a a month and im broke :(

good luck with the sale..please post more pictures of baur porn!

and no..i dont think you can find another one like it. id say try your best to keep it. you said it was imported a month after purchase...does that make it one of the 11 elusive "genuinely" imported baurs? if so...extra rare..if not, its still an amazingly rare and beautiful car.

I dunno, I don't buy that whole "11 exclusive Baurs" thing because every Baur I've ever seen for sale had that tag line in the ad.

I've always told myself that if someone came along with $10k I would sell it, even before the house thing, so I guess I'll see what happens. I'd really rather not sell it though. Urgh. Wish I had some dough saved up, but I unfortunately blew it on lots of toys.

theres a member on bimmerforums, dont know if you've seen his threads but he has a baur register. he can tell you the origin and information about your baur...even IF it is one of the 11

i think his user name is baur or something like that, his names jeroen

Yeah, he did it already for me. It's not one of the mysterious 11.

Put it up on eBay with a low starting bid and a high reserve and see what happens.

If it doesn't meet your reserve price, then so be it, but someone out there might want to pay a premium for a low-mileage Baur

Try selling it on cars-on-line.com lots of high bidders there!

Your best bet selling it asap is to sell it to someone in germany its more of a collector over there.

                          Yeah, Jetronic.

Here's a quick cell snap of the engine bay. Never been cleaned, obviously. I will likely do that and replace that liner at the same time.

-nice car, tho, looks clean and rare!

This is the only e30 I've ever known so the American ones look silly to me. ;-)
