I've hooked up my iPod to a tape adaptor and it worked fine:crazy:

that is rad. but it seems suspiciously cheap. plus for some reason the fact that the site is called chinavasion.com scares me.

That's kind of neat. I'm one of those "period correct" guys, so all I have is cassettes in the car. I keep one of those cd player/ipod adapters in the glove box though, just in case a passenger happens to have something that modern.

I've used one of those corded tape things, it's a RCA piece (of crap.) When used, I hear this constant tick tick tick noise. It's miles behind those FM transmitter things.

I've actually experienced the OPPOSITE with my wired tape cassette adapter. The ones that go through the radio frequency are more often than not fuzzy and take more time to set up and arent as reliable (battery powered) as the cassette style.

oh and this thread is sooo subscribed. Im anxiously awaiting a review!!!

I've still got my OE radio, been considering taking out the DIN tray I have in there now and putting the radio back in.
Kinda defeats the OE look though, seeing as I have a touchscreen mounted underneath it. :p

if I hadn't seen this at 4am i might have waited til one of you guys got yours. Unfortunately that was impossible so I bought one. My 6'er got its alpine stolen and I've got the stock deck in, and when I finish with turbo e30 I might just run a stock tape deck to make interior less appetizing to thieves who might snag my gauges too. I'll let y'all know how it works when it gets here
