    Edit:

That rabbit is also a lease, where as I am buying.
The dealer I got this jetta from is one of like 8 in MN, we have one of their "brother" dealers where I live, so it makes working with them a lot easier.
Have they got a diesel Rabbit stateside yet? That's probably a DD that I would even consider.

Nope. Only models VW has confirmed for the US market are the Jetta sedan and Jetta Sportwagon (the latter to arrive about 2 months after the sedans show up at the dealers).

They might - and I stress might - provide us a Rabbit TDI in the next generation (Mk VI) chassis. No official word though.

Eh, that's a shame. I have my doubts that they'll bring the MkVI Rabbit TDI over here, considering diesel is as expensive as it is and our nation's view of diesel-powered vehicles. A MkV Rabbit TDI manual would be peaches.

Seriously. SELF CLEANING. Ignore Jules and stay on topic.

TD if you can't help but respond to EVERY post he makes maybe you should consider putting him on your ignore list... fighting with him in every thread isn't helping your status around here either. Just a heads up.
I like the jetta, I believe I will be getting another one when we sell our old mkIV wagon. I saw the sport wagon here in ATL, it is bad ass. it has dual sunroofs, the front seat folds flat, and the styling is actually pretty cool.

What motor is the wagon of yours, 2.0 or 1.8T? They had a cool look to them.
Mine is a 1.8t GLS. Nice and rare, and hard to sell.

I can't buy a new car until we sell this one:(

It looks good with the Long Beaches. Being a 1.8T, it shouldn't be too difficult to sell if you throw it on Vortex or The Samba.

That's what we thought. It's been for sale for 5 months now. I want @9k for it, being as rare as it is it should fetch around that. I don't want to trade it in on a new car b/c we will be leasing our next Jetta. OP any plans on rims?

Who is this jules_winfield that keeps shitting on my thread? I don't even see any of his posts other than quotes.

                      Edit:

Also BTW, I currently personally own 3 VW's right now, technically 4 in a legal sense, and a BMW. Do I have a problem? lol

                            Serenity now.

OP, I have a good friend at RevoTechnik US who could hook you up with some software on the cheap. Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks for the offer, but I don't want to go that route with this car. Its just a daily commuter and I barely every pass 2.5k as it is, don't really need software lol ;) Let alone having another car that requires 92+

Not bad, but the interior is kind of blah...It looks like good quality, and all of the ones
I've driven were nice, but why couldn't they have used some more interesting colors?

For tasteful mods (since you are buying it, I figure you will do some) I suggest a drop, GTi grille, one of those trunks with no inner taillights, and some nice rims. ;)
