      It's not out of an ITR. It's out of an Integra GSR. The Type R is the same motor basically B18C5 in the ITR and a B18C1 in the GSR. The difference is the cams and a couple other things. The ITR cams bolt into the GSR engine.

      The integra type R is a stripped down integra. It has no sound deadening, no sun roof, some lighter parts I think and better suspension.
      And a LOT of extra welding in the chassis to make it one of the best chassis out there.

            So the dickhead gave us a 98 ECU and told us it was a 99. Thats the difference between OBDI and OBDII. So now my brother is off to find a 99 ECU then it will be running. Literally all that has to be done is plug the ecu in and fill the engine with coolant.

                96+ is OBD2 or is it different in Canada?

                  I don't know. All I know is the 98 ECU is different from the 99. Maybe its OBD2a and OBD2b.
