Mine loves my e30 almost as much as she loves me. Questions parking situations when people park too close to it. Even has a 92 318i vert to work on. Its demanding a little too much time for now so it's up for sale. She is looking for a 325i hard top to "kit up" with the Mtech II body kit and drop it low. She even gets her hands dirty working on the cars and has been to the Junk yards to pull parts with me.
Needless to say "I got a keeper"

My girlfriend likes my '84 coupe but hated my '91 sedan. I think the only reason she likes any of them is because I'm always driving it in the summer which means she can take my Maxima to work/class/whatever.

She's more into newer BMWs - she wants to pick up a Z4M when she finishes grad school.

Well, the wife drives the M-technic vert, and even got personalized plates for it. So she loves it as long as I keep it clean and running. She doesn't like the fact that I continuously tinker with them though, and she doesn't like the fact that at times, my yard looks like this...

My wife won't ride in my E30 because it is multi-colored (see my pic). I make her feel guilty and tell her she is shallow.

On the other hand, you could not physically separate her from her 96 328i cabby. She said she wanted a white with tan leather E36 cabby years ago, and we even sold her 95 318i cabby to get her one.

My wife has gone to the picnic two year running. She slept most of the time, I saw a few of the wife/gf doing this. she would drive a vert but not if she had to give up the 540. There is some love there.

I wondered this same question with my girl friend so I told her she could drive it. Her eyes instantly gleamed and she ran to the car. But once inside, she got scared of all the practical squary 'Germaness' of the car. I guess thats why she drives some bubbly ford :(
