my girl loves and hates that cabrio, actually cried to get me to slow down, and not turn so fast, but now, just closes her eyes and hangs on to the handle and seatbelt *when driving hard*...

she drives her 07 honda, and when were together, she never drives, just sits for the ride and looks out the window and sometimes gets scared, but is getting better.

shes a total waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles and i lover4it, but when she freaks and says were gonna flip my 4x4 by driving over a median i know she just watches too much t.v. and plays way too many video games.

girls want turn key cars, and i want a bj in a car made for bjs (notice the no center console on ours...very nice sometimes)

she went to the picnic this year and tried to win the sunglasses, but that was about as excited as she gets about any car...

she always asks "done yet ?" when redoing my seats, headlights, r.apron, everything, and i always answer..never..its maintenance...then she smiles, and i am really lucky to have a girl like that actually likes me with any car...

my girl likes the E30, although I think she gets a little too worried when I mess around, screaming frantically out of nowhere because I'm mashing down a freeway onramp or something. Once I get a new clutch she wants to learn to drive it 8-)

The GF likes the e28 a lot, was telling me the other day how comfortable the seats are, lol, and she's getting the trick down for closing the door and opening the glove box. I haven't subjected her to the e30 yet, as it's very non comfort oriented. She actually used to own a red 325e a few years ago but doesn't have it anymore.

My girlfriend isn't crazy about e30s, she liked driving the vert though. She loves the M6 and was seriously upset when I sold the 2002. She'll probably dump me when the M6 gets sold for another "project".

I think It's a love hate thing for my wife.

When wife and I met I was not involved in the automotive industry at all... I had quit...I was totallyfuckingdone done with it.

As we all know...that didn't last.

She likes the cars... But I think she resents the parts that overflow from the shop to our apartment.

LOL. Well for me it's like this. My X once said, "you spend more time with that damn car than you do me!"

I said, "If you were half as much fun as that car I would be wanting to spend time with you!"

Bottom line, sadly, issues in that marriage. For me all it would have taken is the willingness to share (just a little) in something that was important to me. It would have helped.

Now I am dating a woman who loves the E30 as it is, no passenger seat, no carpet just a driver's seat and a black leather back seat. Gentlemen, tint those windows, can the passenger seat and throw back the moon-roof on a full moon night! Add some Anthony Hamilton and well, ...

My wife could care less about the car. So I tagged her on the hood...now it is part of the family.

My wife loves it. I want to get the new Z06 next year and she likes it too but second to the Smart I promised her next spring, she thinks our E30 is the cutest car ever (diving boards, no airdam and all). She was also there with me for every step of the mods. From changing the clutch in the underground parking at our apartment in Vancouver, to changing out all the bushings and suspension components in my company's CEO garage, preparing the S52 in our LIVINGROOM, the engine swap outside my mechanic friends' shop in Toronto, to doing the engine swap in another dude's garage... I have no fuse when I work on cars and things aren't going right, I lose it on her sometimes, she doesn't really get mad but sad, I apologize after we're done and she forgives - but when working on the suspension I was losing it doing the subframe bushings, she was about to get upset but then I grabbed the freshly torch-heated subframe with my bare hand. She was fine after that.

When coming up with the downpayment for the house last year, I was having some difficulty and I was going to sell the E30. She didn't let me, said find another way. I negotiated with the sellers to move closing and pulled it off but with all the blood and tears (and $) I got in this car, I was still prepared to let it go for the house - she wouldn't have it. So you could say she likes it more than I do!

The night before my ex left for WA and I left for FL, we had "the talk" where we decided we were gonna break up. I tagged her on the hood 5 min. later... her first time. I love my M3.

My wifey loves my e30, it's actually my son's, but he's only 15 and I won't let him drive until he earns his keep...purchasing your own car insurance, and getting your own license on your own. Anyways, my wife likes how I threw on the exhaust for a little bonus vroom vroom, she takes it to work, but ask permission of course. The only thing she hates so much is, when I decide we take the e30 to church, it's hot that day, and the ac does not work:(

my gf is in love with my e30 and is looking for a late model vert. I keep telling her my car is a pile with all its little issues but she wont hear it. i think the power of the m30 has her hooked on e30's lol.

I could care less if the girl likes my car. Of the two I'm kinda into right now, one has never said a word about it, except that i keep it really clean, the other one said it's cute/nice, but when I first bought it all she said was "It's not as cute as your old one" so I'm not so sure...

Who knows, maybe someone in Pullman will like it... right...Now I have to start all over though, since I'm 300 miles away from everyone I know.
