LOL!!! "practical squary Germaness" I've never heard a better description of the e30 interior in my life.

My lady loves it...(1987 325is) she always wants to go on drives... I make her break bread for gas though... J/K... She hates the big oil spot thats in the driveway and all the extra parts that I have all over the patio.

      She wants an M3...

My wife could take it or leave it, basically. What it boils down to, is, I spend too much time working on it, too much money on it, and it's "just so old-looking"..
But when her Saab 9-5 is down, I get the "I'm going to take the BMW to the store; is that ok?"

"Walk, it's not that far." :finger:

E30 monthly cost: liability ins., fuel = ~$225
Saab monthly cost: car pymnt, full coverage ins., fuel = ~450-500$...

"So, which car is a bigger pain in the ass?" ;)

I don't think she loves it as much as I do, but the love is there.

Don't have an E30, but most girls I hang with love the 535i, they think it's some big baller car or some shit.

I just laugh and think of all the shit I'm too broke to fix ;)

my gf hated my e30 and nagged all the time that I love bimmer and dogs more than her. I bought an e30 just for her, now she only bitches about dogs (and her A/C not working).

Last gf organized a bikini car-wash (2 girls) just for me. E30 never looked better.

i was out with my sometimes gf last night. Another bronzit e30 parked next to me at the resturant. when i came out the owner was checking out my car. We had a quick conv, the usual my girl was like "dorks" blah blah.

then on the way to our next stop she is putting her shoes on the dash and shit even scuffed up my recently done map pocket!

she is really lucky that she is dirty dirty dirty (u get the idea).

otherwise she would have been walking home

The "New" one took one look at the 750iL and said "women love that car". She has no idea what a pain in the ass it is. My E30, the car I love, goes un-noticed.This is the car that every part has been in my hands. I "love " it.So awesome when you toss it into a corner knowing everything is cool.Very few get the concept of true auto love,- Steve --BTW I would think thrice before letting a women drive my 24 year old stick.

my girlfriend kinda accepted my e30 after some time. She likes that its small, cute, it can fit into somewhat small places, turns well, and that its transportation for me to see her. But she doesnt like sitting in my car in the summer, since black seats make your back sweaty, she thinks its "boxy", it has no cup holders and i have her hold my drinks, im constantly trying to maintain the car, and a/c barely works in the city so i only turn it on on the freeway. but other than those things, shes okay with it =] she loves her tiburon more than anything though. that car is her "baby"
