When looking at the cluster from the front, at the bottom right corner. There is a white rectangle looking thing. That is the coding plug. Squeeze the two prongs on it inward to pull it out.

if they're 'late-model' clusters, the coding plug is in the front-lower section of the cluster housing.. below the tach.. you'll see it; it's about 1.25"x.5"x2". has two tabs (left and right). I use needle-nose pliers to grab it, pinch the tabs in, and pull straight out.

Switched it out. Everything is perfect now, except for one thing. The turn signal stock doesn't go back to not blinking after I turn. Did I forget something? Thanks for everything btw guys!

Check to see if you seated the wheel with the column locked or unlocked. You should have put the wheel on and then made sure the column is unlocked to seat it good then try snugging the nut down more. I don't remember the torque settings for the wheel but it needs a bit more than 8" ratchet will give you. I use a 18" breaker bar to snug it down.

Unless you broke the black plastic tab off of the back of the hub area on the wheel.
