    My point was that even if you keep up on maintenence, something could still happen. A random little gasket sprung a leak. It's not really a maintenance item.

    It's on the piece between where hose 14 and 15 connect on the top, the gasket is between that piece and the throttle body. I know now that I could have bypassed that spot, but that's not the point.

      that's not a random gasket - it's quite common leak actually, it tends to cause corrosion on the injector harnes plug under the TB or damage the TPS. Been there, done that.

              i have it through my insurance but i think that you only get 5 tows. but i have used it so much they cancled it saying that i was trying to rip them off
