How many "Beemers" do you correct?

Lately I have been getting swarmed by people unknowingly refering to BMW automobiles as "beamers."

Normally I try to politely correct them, but lately I've just been brushing it off

Do you guys run into a lot of people doing this also?

as long as they spell it with a "B" and an "M", i don't care.

Bam, bimmer, beamer, boomer (russians), bimmerMW (i call it that), and so forth.

I only get upset when people call e30s, sentras and when people if the car is manual or 5-speed. lol

I work at a dealership, and when someone asks where "beamer service" is, I just let them know we dont service motorcycles, but they can take their car that-a-way. Kinda sad when even the techs call them Beamers.
