So do you just keep it in your pocket? Shouldn't it be pretty stationary in the car?

A: Mounting is a concern for accurate results. Unfortunately, mounting is very vehicle-dependent. On some cars, a cupholder is fine, as long as the iPhone is wedged pretty well and does not move around. For in-house testing, we have a cradle which mounts to the windshield with suction cups. This took a bit of custom work to set up, but does the job nicely. Any off-the-shelf cradle which fits the iPhone should work, as long as it holds the iPhone facing the front of the car, and does not bounce around.

G-techs suck. Tests show that. I'm doing it on an iPod Touch. My car is slow. Don't tell me that already! It's a twistys machine.

the ipod touch doesnt have service. it is an ipod with a touch screen and wifi and blah blah. or you could say an iphone without the phone/bluetooth.

i have this dynolicious program and still havent used it. they say you need to mount the phone completely vertical or horizontal, with it facing the right direction. so your pocket will not work. im still trying to figure out a solution for this.

how have others mounted their phone?

Sounds a little off actually. My car when it was bone stock with crappy all season tires was able to break into the 16's. Albeit it was a ~16.8, but it was not that slow.

I'd expect my car, with the mods I have done now, to put about ~120 at the wheels. Probably wishful thinking, but it's not "that" slow :)

Whoa, at $200-400, iTouch myself, and iPod execs can screw themselves too.

I have a case on mine and it leaves no residue.

I'm really starting to think that the guy who put my exhaust in put way to big of pipes, making me lose lots of torque. He put in 2.5" exhaust. I just told him to put in whatever he thought was best. I think i'm going to go back and put in 2.25"

I spent $30 at the track and got a 1.951 60-ft and an ET of 15.172, RT was .234. your $400 iphone can shove it.
