Top Gear? I seem to recall them saying that a chassis dyno is a "lie detector for engines." They supported this with the claim that it "gives the true horsepower reading." They then went on to criticize the fact that a chassis dyno only found 447 of the Shelby GT500's advertised 500hp. Last I checked an engine dyno was the lie detector, and bhp was different than whp. But they know what they're talking about...sigpic
