      one more try at temptation

it really wouldn't be that hard if you have some decent fab skills, access to a tubing bender/welder. you would need to sort out the cable shifter. the rest is pretty straightforward

        You have no idea.

I put one in a buds Corrado, and I shit you not folks that had their windows down that were in front of you would pull over thinking a fire truck was behind them. I had it happen more than once in a 20 minute drive while I was testing it out.

i wonder how close you can get the motor to the firewall though? if you hang it out past the front struts what would be the point?

not too sure to be honest i would like the motor to be as far back as possible but it really would depend on the trans tunnel and the transmission itself how far i could get it so sit back, compaired to an inline 6 the VR6 is shorter in length and just a little wider, size wise it's between a 4cyl and a 6cyl because of the staggerd cyl design, the pisture i showed the VR in was a A4 which was AWD and because of the front axle come out just after the bell housing on that transmission the motor had to sit forward more,
i was also wondering how the 325XI's are setup as far as AWD is concerned do they have a transfer case or is it like Audi and Subaru where the front axle's are put into the front of the transmission?
