in-fucking-credible! just one thing. how is the car going to handle that amount of power. he will never have enough grip to keep those tires from spinning, will he? i am all for insane amounts of power, but i don't think this will even be functional.

                      What brakes, lol.

Looks pretty nuts. Should be interesting when its completed.

I wonder why they choose this engine though? It must be for the unique-ness, or the fact its so over the top.
CardCounter made 980WHP with a 2.8L m52, which seems like it would be cheaper, easier to fit, take up less room, easier to cool, lighter, etc.

I guess the area under the curve is worth the extra effort/cost. Obviously a twin turbo v8 with larger displacement will spool quicker and have more torque off boost than a similar HP s50/s52/m52.
My e30 and e28 are both up for sale::

+1. I bet not a lot of people understand area under the curve and v8 sound is just something else especially high revving one

Haha I was just looking at that thread when S14.net went down.

Hope they finish it, it's been a year and a half already.

Motor choice in this case might be related to longevity.

A 980whp M52 would not be long-lived in any sort of non-drag-racing situation.
