First roadtrip with mods completed

Just got back from Laredo (1400 mile roundtrip) engine mods made it much more powerful, 7200 rpm redline was great & averaged 28 mpg at an average of 85 mph, Springs & shocks made it firmer & in curves it handles much more stable.

I wish I could drive slower so I could really see the mpg climb but at this speed its an 11.5 hour trip and I just want to be there (especially in the tenth hour)!

I take it you mean 11.5 hours one way??

That's pretty good mileage for that speed anyway!

Yes thats taking each direction as a trip (which it is) doing it in 2 days is serious work. It is much more comfortable in the e30 than my Tundra!

So you have an internally stock m20b25, but you rev it to 7200 rpms?

why?

No I don't but I could, the chip removed the redline. I took it to 7k

so I don't see the benefits of raising up the redline

3rd stage harmonics, and then when his pistons shear off his rods because his crank isnt 100% symetrical we can all laugh. or when the valve float takes over and he adds "flow through pistons"......

And this is the head esp. manufactured for those famous "flow trough" pistons
(don't try this at home kids)

My car is running great, I went over 6800 for no less than 10 or 15 seconds and it was nice to not have the fuel cutoff. I was only trying to share the benefits of the small few mods i did.
