"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

The US got the NSX lightweight, it didn't sell.
People clamored over getting the European Civic hatchback, it's not selling.
"They" wanted the australian Holden Monaro, it's not selling.
The VW R32 is backing up on dealership lots.
"Enthusiast" owners all talked about how they wanted these cars, but when the time comes, they back off, leaving the car companies with a bunch of products that they can't sell to the mainstream public.
We get the "real" e46 M3, We get the Evo 8, we get a more powerful Lotus Elise, and we get a better STi than the rest of the world. I haven't heard anyone mention that we now get the Nissan Skyline & Skyline coupe in the US, albeit badged as infiniti's.
The fact that BMW isn't bringing over a limited run M3 that costs 95k USD and would still get smoked by a Z06 at half the price doesn't really bother me.
