255k i think its time for a valve adjustment wouldnt you say. While your at it change the valve stem seals as well look and see if your valves and lifters are not worped and damage. Or you can do it it the easy way and buy another motor im selling one if you need one?

The only motor i screwed up was a motor i stuck cheap oil in, i cooked the main bearings.
Aside from blowing a headgasket of course, but ya know, that's not related to the oiling. :P
