    E30 sold... whats next?

Im up in arms on what to get next. I sold my E30, and already miss it. I had a plan to get an E36 TI this weekend, but the owner sold it from underneath me (worked out price, pick up time and place, etc). So I dont know what to get. I dont think I want a payment. I was thinking either a TI still, or maybe a solid E34. I have been very tempted to see what I could get as far as E36 M3s, or if my dealership gets a great deal on a nice E46.

    Opinions? Besides getting another E30....

    I picked up a TI whilst still in ownership of a 87 325is. Not satisfying. I'd suggest an e34 540i 6spd.

Every day I wake up we drink a lot of coffee and watch the CNN
Every day I wake up to a bowl of clover honey and let the locusts fly in.
    Lobsterbacks attack the town again
Wrap all my things in aluminum
Beams of darkness streak across the sky
Pink rays from the ancient satellite
Every time I look out my window same three dogs looking back at me.
Every time I open my windows cranes fly in to terrorize me.

How come you're done with e30's? Looking for something a little newer and luxurious?

Well, posterity, you will never know what it cost us to preserve your freedom. I only hope that you will make a good use of it. If you do not, I shall repent in heaven that I ever took half the pains to preserve it.

With current gas prices, I suggest a late model (yet non-VANOS) E34 525i manual. They're solid cars. If not that, then maybe an E34 535i manual.

For the money, E34's offer a lot and they have relatively few faults if properly maintained.

I think 92s were the non vanos.

B10 biturbo?? I think I would try to find another Ti, always liked those a lot.

Eh, that's right, for some reason I thought 94's had the M50NV.

If you don't mind the cross-country venture, this seems like a serious deal.

What's next? You'll get another car or two, then you'll end up back here with another e30.

I have a feeling youre right... I actually know youre right. But that'll be when Ive got more cash, and it'll be an E30 M3, not a 325i.

I found a dude with a silver 97 328is, on coil overs for pretty cheap. Im considering picking that up tomorrow.

I'd say get a 535i. Your less likely to get the mod itch that way as there are so many parts and upgrades available for the 318ti.

I'm looking for a white e90 or e60 with nav, sport package, and premium package. Black interior preferred. And of course cheap!!! No more then 24k OTD. I've found a few with under 50k miles but they all have tan interiors.

I can find you something. Do you have good credit? I can have the MFer delivered to your door, I make $250 for the delivery and $100 for the bird dog fee at my work.

I had an e34 525i. had suspension, 5 sp. I liked it a lot, it was very luxurious. Still had that old BMW feeling to it for sure. Got a 97 328i 4 dr and now I'm pretty happy with it. A few creature comforts that definitely show it's age compared to an e34.

My big problem with the e34 is while it is luxurious, you can't really push it. If you don't have another car, owning only an e34 will leave you with a desire for something more nimble
