How about the E36 M3/4? I just picked one up as a DD and couldn't be happier... it's plenty fast, amazingly economical, practical (with fold down rear seats) and very solid (if you can live with some of the sub-par interior plastics and mouse fur head-liner). I even took it to Englishtown last night and ran it. Plus they're not much more than a run-of-the-mill E36 and have similar maintenance costs.Mike

Because I have $6k to spend. I can spend $4k on that 328, and have $2k left (or mod it with $2k), and have a real nice E36...or spend the $6k and get a roached out E36 M3. At this point, I dont want a loan, and its near impossible for an older car anyhow.
