      Yeah, that was out of a 96 328, based on the last 7. Whyd you pull it out of the TI?

        TI was at pick and pull. Engine trans $150.00.

        Will this emgine bolt up to a 240 getrag?

            I dunno, but that's a sweet deal. And iirc, the trans that comes on the M52B28 is the same as on the S52B32 (i.e. an M3 trans), so i would keep the trans that's on the motor if i were you. I know the 240 can handle the power though.

              yes you can bolt that up to a getrag 240. it will even sit nice and straight. good luck with your swap.

                  So the G240 is the same gearbox that is found in the E36 M3? I always heard that the E36 M3's had the ZF box that was popular for moneyshifting.

                    Will the oil pan on this engine work with my e30? Remember this was an engine swaped into a 318 ti. Is there an part # somewhere on it?

                      No, but the bolt pattern is the same, also the same as a g250 and g260 (and some others)

                      Yes, e36m3/328i's had the zf310/320
