Obviously not made for this, but maybe that would be an appropriate brace to pedal to the M3 guys, and/or track guys who want to install real rear coilovers?

It will pop right into a 9/87 or latter e30 chassis m3 or otherwise (except for the cabriolets)...

and are we talking a true rear coil over or weight jacks?

This part is intended for high performance e30s be them street or track cars...

Oh... And I may have pics of the finished product tonight (I'm getting ready to shoot them now).

I'm getting ready to install a set of coilovers on my 85 318. It is also getting sn m52 swap (which I know will eventually become FI) and I do plan on tracking it frequently. I have been worried about popping the tops on my rear strut mounts and cracking the diff mounts (I've seen it happen). Is this setup A: going to fit the early model e30s and B: Can it handle the stresses coilovers place (I would weld the main brackets to the strut tower all the way around)?

        thanks

No the real coilovers not weight jacks. I don't think alot of guys do it, but some do. And this might be perfect for those guys.

Okay... Don't expect to have these shipped right off the bat... But here is the very first production brace:

(fitment currently only for 9/87 and up e30 chassis coups and sedans)

Now you just need a way to tie in the front and rear subframes.

O'rly? Nice. Let me know if you'd like me to take a look at your install instructions, I'd be glad to lend any comments if I can.

Like Q-ship said. Any and all monies for car mods over the next few months will most likely end up in yours and Lee's hands.

boy i have a lot of questions ive seen several broken rear diff supports and this looks like it will fit the bill.

is it going to be available for pre face lift?

how do those pins on the bottom attach?

the obvious one how much does it cost?

                      when will it be available?

im sure ill think of more

It will be available for the pre 9/87 cars soon...

Those are crush sleeves and they drop into pre existing holes in the trunk pan to the bottom of the channel that the rear differential mounts to...

The whole shooting match is $450 + S&H and it is available to order now however it will take 2 or 3 weeks at least to get one out to you... (No production yet, will be built to order)

That is a really nice looking product.

I'll be patiently awaiting a way to connect the front/rear subframes.

Thank you for taking the time to develop new products for such an old car!

                                one more question i remembered

i already have had cracking in the left side of the under brace that the rear diff mount is mounted on that has been re welded will that interfere with the support?
