Obviously not made for this, but maybe that would be an appropriate brace to pedal to the M3 guys, and/or track guys who want to install real rear coilovers?

It will pop right into a 9/87 or latter e30 chassis m3 or otherwise (except for the cabriolets)...
and are we talking a true rear coil over or weight jacks?
This part is intended for high performance e30s be them street or track cars...
Oh... And I may have pics of the finished product tonight (I'm getting ready to shoot them now).Comment

I'm getting ready to install a set of coilovers on my 85 318. It is also getting sn m52 swap (which I know will eventually become FI) and I do plan on tracking it frequently. I have been worried about popping the tops on my rear strut mounts and cracking the diff mounts (I've seen it happen). Is this setup A: going to fit the early model e30s and B: Can it handle the stresses coilovers place (I would weld the main brackets to the strut tower all the way around)?
thanksComment

No the real coilovers not weight jacks. I don't think alot of guys do it, but some do. And this might be perfect for those guys.sigpic

Those are crush sleeves and they drop into pre existing holes in the trunk pan to the bottom of the channel that the rear differential mounts to...
The whole shooting match is $450 + S&H and it is available to order now however it will take 2 or 3 weeks at least to get one out to you... (No production yet, will be built to order)Comment
