UPDATE: Project 325E making some progress... PICS ADDED!

    Hey guys-
well, I had a long day today. I replaced the timing belt/tensioner on my '85 325E. While I was in there, I did the waterpump, expansion bottle, all radiator hoses, valve cover gasket, distrubutor cap/rotor, 80 degree thermostat, and alternator bushings.
This all took 6 hours. Man I wish I had a garage to work in, I did everything in Tyler's driveway as I can't work at my condo.
Next week the whole clutch system will be replaced, and the brake fluid will be flushed for ATE Super Blue.

I put the basketweaves on it tonight, and they look awesome. I just need to install my M3 springs now as it looks silly so high off the ground.
I am selling both sets of spare wheels that I have, they are on e-bay.

    Later guys!

I wish i could convince my father to help me do the timing belt. He's convinced its rocket science, and thus i have to save up the 400+ the stealer charges to do it.

I have done three 325 timing belts, they are a sinch. Seriously one of the easier jobs to do if you watch what you are doing. Tell your dad to suck it up and let you try. If you mess up, you can tow it to the stealer for the work to be completed.
        good luck man!

well, I jsut finished tinting my windows with 35% tint. It looks much better than before.
While I had all the glass out, I vacuumed out all the broken glass from what appears to be from a broken rear window. There was a LOT of glass in the car, probably 80% of the window. I am redying the rear deck while its all apart and putting a new rear window seal in. I fixed the headliner to stay under the seal and not peel back like it was, looks 1000% better than before.
This car is making progress, slowly but surly.

I will post some pics tonight when I get everything back together again.
