Do what you can, with what you have, where you are !!!

              - The let mallet works good for moving a large aeras - the carpenters hammer works well on stubbern aeras.

The car in my sig is some dude's in europe - search for a thread "who's red car is this" - it's a wounderful mess of different part...

you doing the full install yourself? cause if you arnt jordan will hate it
As if I give a flying fuck - Yes, me and M3 Ryan are doing it together. Don't worry, Jordan won't like it anyways - He thinks the m30 motor is outdated. I don't know why - it's a LOT like a m20 - but the cam is CHAIN driven, and you get a LITTER more displacement. The motor is not a peaky HP motor. It's a tourque motor. Oh and it's smoth as silk, and unbreakable (300k easy)

Remember guys, peak HP is great - but it's the *aera* under the curve that counts!

              With a m30 stock motor, I'll be eating e36 m3's for breakfast.

Oh, BTW - if you're thrifty/lucky, you can do this swap for under $2500.

So nay-sayers can put that in their pipe and smoke it. :D

Ya so far I've spent $1224.67 on my motor. All I need is motor mounts, driveshaft, shortening of driveshaft, shift linkage, tranny mounts, down pipes, exhuast work. And it will be done. Will be a good bit under $2500 when done.

I love how m30's feel and sound. The torque difference is definately noticeable between the m30 and the m20. The m30 also sounds much better than the m20 in my opinion

Is that _really_ the US spec M30B35 ?

Just to give a few examples:
The European spec M30B35 had 218 hp @ 5200 rpm / 229Nm @ 4000 rpm, unsure about the chassis it can be found in. Probably in all of E23/28/32/34.
                        The M30B28 (with Motronic 1.x) I have in my "Euro" E23 728 (-85) has 184 @ 5800 / 177 @ 4000.

Dude they drink too much fuel, its just not practical to have a car that’s so un efficient, its a drag racer nothing more. ( in Europe the fuel costs and fuel efficiency is a big consideration to a cars worth)
